Veronika Schumann

Veronika Schumann has been head of the Convention Bureau Tirol since 2015. Her more than 30 years of professional experience have taken her from her beginnings as a travel agent through many stations in the tourism and event industry. As a division manager, she was responsible for 8 travel agencies of a national tour operator with over 30 employees. She gained airline experience as a sales manager at Lauda Air. During all these years in various positions she was responsible for tourism & event fairs, congress organisations, side events, business events of all kinds, clubbings and much more. With her Convention Bureau team, she also creates, plans, moderates and organises customer events all over Europe and tries out new industry trends herself with new formats in order to be able to pass on this experience to the network. In addition, she is constantly gaining new event experience herself at various trade fairs and workshops.

Staying curious and open-minded, open to new things and always moving with the times, that is her motto.
