With 20+ years in the event industry, Stacy is a leading Canadian event expert known for her creative and innovative approach in crafting extraordinary live experiences. As Founder and Publisher of Canadian Special Events Magazine, Founder of the Canadian Event Awards, and Producer of CSE Live, Canada's premier show for event professionals, she has played an instrumental role in shaping the Canadian events landscape. As a Producer she has orchestrated events of all scales, from trade shows and intimate gatherings to conferences and grand productions, both in-person and virtually hosting audiences from 50 to 5000+.
Alongside CSE, Stacy spent 12 years in Advancement at UMB as Director of Events & Ceremonies, leading an award-winning team in executing initiatives that advanced the University's goals. Among her career highlights is the strategic development and execution of events for the five-year $500M UM Capital Campaign, including hundreds of celebrations stewarding donors and recognizing supporters. Her carefully designed and custom-curated donor experiences directly resulted in building deep and meaningful relationships with the university, driving philanthropic support further, and creating lasting commitment to its goals.
A staunch advocate for professional development, Stacy has held esteemed leadership positions in industry organizations. She served as President of ILEA Vancouver, Editorial Advisor for CAPS Canada, and currently holds the position of President of Event Professionals MB.
Her passion transcends the professional realm as she generously supports causes like Eat Love Shop, aiding women's shelters, and mentors aspiring professionals through intern initiatives, such as her partnership with Seneca College through CSE. Stacy's unwavering commitment and exceptional talents have earned her many accolades, including Special Event Gala awards, the Senecan of Distinction Award, multiple CCAE Prix de Excellence and CASE Gold and Silver awards. In 2021, she received recognition as one of Canada's Top 250 Event Professionals.
