Robert joined Siemens in 2006 as a Marketing Consultant. Since then he has performed numerous missions and roles in the fields of marketing, sales, business development and communications for various Siemens units.
In July 2019 he joined the Communications Services department (CMS) of Siemens Global Business Services as Director & Head of Fairs.
CMS is Siemens’ one-stop shop for tailor-made Live Communication and related activities, offering holistic services along the entire value chain of consulting, planning, and execution for physical, hybrid, and virtual interaction.
Corresponding to digitalization and other (communication) trends, the department was reorganized as of January 1, 2021 to #OneCMS, consisting of interdisciplinary mixed teams, to improve the integration of previous service silos (such as fairs, events, editorial, etc.), enhancing memorable live communication experiences, while following a growth mindset.
With a passion for marketing, (live) communication and interaction, Robert has a large network and is a member of various initiatives, such as the Digital Advisory Board of Messe Frankfurt or the Trade Fair Transparency working group in the German Trade Fair Industry Association AUMA e.V.
He lives with his family in Nuremberg, Germany, but you can also find him on LinkedIn and twitter. Robert likes to travel, enjoys good friendships and should be more active in sports than just watching them. 😉
