Rachel Russell is an award-winning event marketer, creating and executing memorable experiences for attendees. She is the Assistant Director, Field Marketing at EY and runs the Entrepreneur Of The Year® Greater Los Angeles program, which recognizes business leaders in 145 cities and 60 countries throughout the world. Past winners include Jessica Alba of The Honest Company, Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia, and John Shields of Trader Joe’s.
Prior to EY, she was a Senior Event Planner at Deloitte for seven years and worked for Sony Pictures at San Diego Comic-Con, MGM Studios, Victoria’s Secret, and ABC Television.
Rachel is the bronze winner of the 2022 Stevie Awards for Women in Business: Female Employee of the Year. She also won the Los Angeles Lakers and Comerica Women's Business Awards and was recognized on-court at the Lakers vs Celtics game. She has been named on the Top Event Marketers of North America and Top 55 Event Experience Leaders list.
Regarded as an industry expert, Rachel has been a guest speaker on several podcasts and webinars: Building Awesome Events, Institute of Virtual, and Eventions. She has been featured in numerous publications, including theSkimm, BizBash, USC Marshall News, emc3, Smart Meetings, and The Network.
Rachel graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business and School of Cinematic Arts through the John H. Mitchell joint program, which only accepts 50 students per year. While at USC, she was selected for a Weekend with Warren Buffett, attending a Q&A session at Berkshire Hathaway and touring Buffett's businesses. Rachel also completed an Executive Education program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
