Mireia Iglesias

Born in Bilbao (Spain), Mireia has studied and worked in multicultural and international environments since the beginning of her professional career. PhD in Leisure, Culture and Communication for Human Development, she is Communications and Events Coordinator at the World Leisure Organization (WLO) since January 2016. Her professional career combines event design and event production, together with association management and international relations skills. Her knowledge and experience revolve, as materialized in her doctoral thesis, around three main areas: educational events; event experience and event design, especially with hybrid formats; and knowledge transfer. Fascinated by the human factor, she is passionate about sports, music, and traveling around the world.
