Lisa DeGolyer

Lisa DeGolyer co-manages the day the day operations of the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) – the premier association of DMCs. In her role she oversees the organization’s conference, credentialing, accreditation, sponsorship, webinar and two scholarship programs and represents ADMEI on the Events Industry Council (EIC).

A 30+-year veteran in the association and event management industry, she got her start at Host Communications, Inc., (now Associations International) a Lexington, KY-based, multifaceted management firm working with clients such as the National Tour Association, Tour and Travel Research Association, International Spa Association, and Quest Users Group.

Lisa is a partner and co-founder of The Valisade Group, Inc. (TVG), a full-service association management company. The 20-year-old company has a proven track record of helping associations grow and thrive. Prior to ADMEI she co-managed all aspects of the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA).

She hails from Lexington, Kentucky (GO CATS) and is an avid tennis and pickleball player. She enjoys sports, good food, and travel and is married to Troy, a 33+ year United States Army Aviation veteran.
