Connected with the MICE industry for more than fifteen years, Michał Kalarus is the co-creator of THINK MICE magazine and portal. As editor-in-chief, he supervises the work of a team of journalists and is responsible for the shape and informative content of the magazine and portal, whose scope encompasses all segments of the meetings industry: events, incentive travel, congresses and conferences. Kalarus is also involved in writing informative texts and broader studies on the MICE industry. He interviewed many domestic and foreign experts and actively participates in the life of the industry by attending numerous events and trade fairs dedicated to the MICE market in Poland and worldwide.
Kalarus adopts an in-depth and multifaceted approach to issues covered by THINK MICE, consequently showing the role and contribution of the meetings sector in, i.a. broadly defined marketing communication, employer branding or destination marketing. He hosts debates and industry discussions plus sits on the jury of several industry competitions. Finally, before launching THINK MICE Michał Kalarus spent many years as an editorial team member of other trade media titles and also cooperated with, i.a. Deutsche Welle and Reuters.
