Gerry Schneider

Almost 25 years of professional experience in the MICE industry make Gerry Schneider a true professional in the sector. He laid the foundations for his career in congress management at NetHotels in Vienna. Schneider then moved to the University of Vienna, where he successfully built up and led the congress and conference service area for eleven years and was thus able to service numerous scientific events as an in-house PCO (Professional Congress Organizer). In February 2020, he joined WeAreDevelopers to implement a new event strategy. As VP of Events, he shows how to successfully design events - both online and offline - with passion, creativity and innovation and build a global community of developers and technology enthusiasts. Gerry Schneider has thus been able to further expand the reach and influence of WeAreDevelopers events and is driving the continuous development of high-quality event formats and innovative ideas. In July 2024, Gerry was once again responsible for what was probably the most successful WeAreDevelopers World Congress to date in Berlin.
