Gernot Marx is Managing Director of the Salzburg Convention Bureau and vice president of the Austrian Convention Bureau, where he also serves as speaker of the regional and city CVBs. Before he started in destination marketing 12 years ago, Gernot worked for the a leading luxury and life style hospitality chain in events, sales and marketing positions.Besides marketing, Gernot has a strong focus on psychology and leadership, currently working on the change process brought by the VUCA world and Covid-19.
