François Lafont

François Lafont is the CEO of Business Event Luxembourg, the national convention bureau of Luxembourg, and the official representative for the development of business events in the Grand-Duchy.

François has over 35 years of professional experience in Luxembourg and France in strategic communication services, congresses, conferences, and incentives for corporate, institutional, and association clients.

Passionate about people, François set up his own communications agency at age 23, after which he worked for over 20 years in the private sector. François has worked as director of hotel groups, convention centers, and event agencies, and joined the opening team of the Luxembourg Convention Bureau in June 2019.
