Dr James Morgan

Dr James Morgan has been consistently voted as one of the world’s 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry. He is the founder and principal consultant at the events consultancy James Morgan Associates. He is also a consultant to the Riyadh Exhibitions Company, the oldest expo organizer in Saudi Arabia. He has recently been the Dean of the International Tourism and Hospitality College in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has over 30 years of experience in event design and events management. He created the world’s first MA Event Design for the University of Westminster in London. He has a PhD in Tourism Development and Destination Regeneration. He is also the founder of non-profit EventTech Lab, a partnership community for event technology companies, event professionals and investors. As a truly international professional, he is passionate about researching and speaking on event topics including experience design, staging design, event technology and visitor engagement.
