Derrin Brown is an accomplished critical thinker and a creative alchemist specialising in Immersive Environments.

During the COVID hiatus, he undertook a remarkable endeavour, founding and assuming the role of General Manager at The Mandala Social. In this capacity, he has collaborated closely with State Economic Development Authorities on pioneering immersive experiential projects. Derrin's impressive career spans over 23 years, during which he has orchestrated international experiences on behalf of diverse commercial entities and governmental bodies, even up to and including the United Nations.

Derrin's multifaceted portfolio encompasses projects of all scales and genres, from art and sports events to boutique gatherings and major spectacles. His work consistently incorporates a musical element, whether within the confines of a proscenium or a vast stadium. He demonstrates equal prowess in creating from the ground up in greenfield locations, and he now boasts an extensive knowledge of shoreline car parks around the Ring of Fire. His unwavering focus remains on producing high-quality experiences that engage all the senses.

Among his illustrious career highlights, Derrin has led teams at prestigious institutions such as Cirque du Soleil, the Sydney Opera House, Princess Cruises, and various international governments. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the 2022 NOOR Riyadh Festival in KSA, which achieved an impressive six Guinness World Records.

Derrin's contributions extend to the realm of politics, where he has collaborated with the Democratic National Committees in the USA on DNC events and Presidential Election campaigns. His versatility is further underscored by his work with esteemed cultural institutions like The Royal Ballet, BRB, Opera Australia, and the New York Philharmonic, to name a few. Additionally, he has left his creative imprint on organizations like FIFA, The Blue Man Group, Merivale, Belvoir, and the Riverside Theatres.

Derrin's extensive special event portfolio includes the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, White Night Melbourne, Australia Day celebrations on Sydney Harbour, creating national programs at World Expo’s, and a crowning achievement in directing the Independence Day Handover Ceremony for the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, an key achievement and celebration for the United Nations.
