Chandra M. Champion serves as the Director of Event Services for the NAACP Empowerment Program. In this role, she oversees the delivery of special events, meetings, and national conferences for NAACP members, funders, staff, and the Board of Directors across the country. Her expertise ensures the seamless execution of these critical engagements.
Chandra is also actively involved in the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), where she contributes her extensive knowledge and experience to support the organization’s mission of advancing the business events industry. She sits on two Committee, Membership and Communications. Her involvement in PCMA underscores her commitment to professional development and industry excellence.
Chandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, where she also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Her extensive educational background and professional experience make her a distinguished leader in event services and nonprofit management.
