An imaginative story of great impact that, in 75 minutes, retraced the history of the great world skiing and enhanced the uniqueness of Italy, Veneto and the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage Site, with an explosion of suggestions and engaging emotions. The show that kicked off the two weeks of the World Championship, developed into a narration made of lights and sounds, giving shape to the culture and history of Cortina d'Ampezzo, home of winter sports since the 56th Olympics.
However, the fil rouge of the Ceremony was the future: a message that has made sport, hope and passion the way to look forward with confidence. An opening ceremony that sprung from darkness, an allegory of the current historical moment, which renewed itself in every step and through each of its protagonists.
