“The Top 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry” for 2022 in full

As awards that celebrate excellence in the event industry, it is in our DNA to nurture boldness and bravery that mold outstanding accomplishments by successful companies and the talented people behind them. 

We’re, therefore, thrilled to announce that we just wrapped up a month of nominations and voting for the annual “The 100 Most Influential People in The Event Industry” index and we are excited to share the results and congratulate the ones who made the top 100 list. 

“The 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry” index recognizes the professionals who have left a mark on the industry with their creativity, vision, and capacity for innovation. It’s all decided entirely by the public, where industry experts get to first nominate and then vote for those they believe have the most notable impact on the world of events and experience marketing. 

This list is very special to us because it celebrates the people that make the event magic happen. The road to success is not always smooth and the diversity of these unique individual paths and the light they shine on the industry are truly worth witnessing. 

We’d like to note that all nominees, not just those that won the public vote, are prominent industry figures. We feel honored by the opportunity to give  them the recognition and respect they deserve.

Some facts ‍

• This year, a total of 454 professionals were honored with a nomination. 
• Nearly 21,000 votes were cast to determine who gets the honor of being recognized as one of The 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry in 2022. 
• Event professionals from 22 countries made the top 100.
• The most represented country was the US with 43 nominees, followed by the UK and Poland. 
• Leading industry companies such as PCMA, Haymarket Media Group, Bizbash and Kenes Group are well represented among the list of names.
