Eventex unveils The Most Influential People in the Events Industry for 2023

We’re thrilled to announce The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry for 2023 — a list comprising the most exceptional individuals from around the globe who have made an impact with their creativity, vision, and capacity for innovation. This year we’ve also chosen to acknowledge the most influential individuals by sector and region to give further recognition to the most deserving professionals who have been shaping every facet of the industry in every corner of the world. 

Comprehensive & layered recognition 

First things first — The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry index recognizes those individuals who have impacted the industry the most this year. The index is the work of the public, with members of the events community first getting to nominate their event superstars in their respective area of expertise, and then vote, making the selection of the top 100 individuals with the most votes a true industry benchmark.

In addition to our overall 100 index, we are also announcing the most deserving professionals in the following index subsets:

• The 50 Most Influential Event Professionals

These additional indices reflect the versatility of the events industry and Eventex’s wish to give better and broader recognition to the individuals who shape them.

And while The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry index recognizes the impact of remarkable individuals all over the world, we have also chosen to showcase events industry professionals in the region where they operate as well. To that end, we are also announcing The 50 Most Influential People in the following regions — Asia and the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the UK, and the US and Canada. 

Notable index stats & facts 

This edition of The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry saw as many as 830 nominations, and a massive 21,787 votes cast on our Evalato-powered public voting portal. Some of the more exciting statistics for The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry index also include: 

• Nominees from 56 countries all over the globe;
• The top 3 countries represented in the index include the US (31), the UK (11), and Poland (11);
