Describe yourself in 3 words?Enthusiastic, Excited, Positive
What was your first job?I spent 7 years working at my local beach club (The Swordfish Club in Westhampton Beach, NY) as an office girl/lifeguard/swimteam coach. I love working at IMEX but that had to be the best job I’ve ever had!
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?Cheddar Goldfish crackers
If you could go back in time and talk to your 20-yr. old self for 15 seconds, what would you tell?Trust yourself a bit more, you’re doing a really good job.
What is your superpower in business?I like to think my enthusiasm is infectious and can usually get people excited about almost anything.The only way to achieve the impossible is…...to try it!
Your formula for a successful event…...lots of tiny foods, I love tiny food.Who would play you in a movie?We don’t have much in common but I think Rose Byrne is pretty fantastic.
The event of your dreams…I thought my wedding was pretty epic! It was incredible to have family and friends from the US come to the UK for the week, plus the weather was unreal – which is never a guarantee in England!
What is the future of events?More face to face meetings! Even with incredible technology, nothing takes the place of face to face!
The best advice you ever received?‘If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.’ It’s a quote from Maya Angelou but Michelle Johnson from the Anchor Group said it to me while she was the facilitator at my MPI Greater New York chapter retreat, it’s always stuck with me.
What are you fully devoted to?Petting as many dogs as I can in my lifetime.
What is the price of success?Finding a work/life integration can be difficult in this business but it’s something we are all striving for.
