Eventex 2019 Jury Yearbook: Dr. Zuzana Adamson
Founder of MICE CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE media and TV
Describe yourself in 3 words? Creative, Demanding and for the 3rd, ask my ex-husband.
What was your first job?Cleaning rooms in the Hotel Pyramida in Prague 6. I was almost 16, during the summer holidays, and was with my girlfriend, we were happy to make our own money. We also cleaned dishes in the kitchen of a Chinese Luxury restaurant in Prague, and one time my friend made a mistake to open the wrong door, and found herself with dirty clothes and dirty dishes in the middle of VIP guests in the restaurant in front of Karel Gott (famous Czech singer).
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?Fresh vegetable salads, with a glass of quality French wine, preferably Burgundy.
If you could go back in time and talk to your 20-yr. old self for 15 seconds, what would you tell?I love you. Get a better dress and a rich husband.
What is your superpower in business?Communication, passion and a curious mentality.
The only way to achieve the impossible is…Just do it.
Your formula for a successful event…Good location, Good organisation, Good people, Good topics and Good food. Who would play you in a movie? The heroine, of course. The event of your dreams….There are many events and this is hard to say. I’ll try: a private dinner on a boat with Platon, Nikola Tesla, Rudolf Steiner, Wilhelm Reich, Osho, president Kennedy and his wife, Raskolnikov, Nurijev, Antoine de St. Exupery, Louis XIV., Napoleon Hill. Together with Maria Blavatska, Baba Vanga, and my ex-husband.
What is the future of events?More security questions and solutions, more technologies. I believe that in the future this will be even more important than today. And there will be more questions about the right usage of time – and more diverse ways of keeping people laser focused, and getting the maximum from it.
The best advice you ever received?Do not make any important decisions when you don’t feel great yourself, or the best.
What are you fully devoted to?Life itself and its realization in the space and time through me.
What is the price of success?Success is an attitude I think. Sometimes when you are “down”, it is about to give you opportunity to live the experience and grow through it, the opportunity of transformation. Without shadow, it is not possible to distinguish the light.
