A one-of-a-kind congress for event professionals was held on February 25-26 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The exclusive interactive mix of education, networking, expo and entertainment gathered event professionals from Europe, the Middle East, USA and Asia to explore the newest trends and innovations in the industry of meetings and events.Over 500 attendees from 25+ countries attended the 4 educational and 2 entertainment events during Eventex, exchanged knowledge and experience, and saw the cutting edge industry solutions for more proficient event planning at a boutique expo, featuring only 17 companies.
An excellent selection of world-class speakers such as Victor Neyndorff, Wayne Morris, Mike Piddock, Michael Heipel and Juraj Holub shared their knowledge about event technology in the first day of the congress. High-endprofessionals like Linda Pereira, James Morgan, Alexander Blass and Jeremy Nicholas highlighted the event marketing moves that make events irresistibly attractive during the second day of the congress. The two half-day masterclasses on venue sales and meeting design, resp. on February 25 and 26, gathered more than 130 professionals who devoted their attention to Rob Davidson and Eric de Groot. At an awards gala in the first evening of Eventex the winners in Eventex Awards were announced. Event of the Year for 2014 became T urn On the Lights by the Dutch company Xsaga. Next year’s Eventex is yet to be announced but one thing's for sure: it will be in Sofia, in the beginning of the year and it will definitely surpass the 2015 edition!
