Michail Panagiotakis

An event professional with more than 25 years’ international experience in events and advertising and a deep understanding of the UAE culture, having launched major events such as Dubai International Fashion Week and the Retail Middle East Event Awards. Based in the Middle East region for 17 years, he has been heading the Events arm of Viola Communications, a leading MENA based and fully integrated marketing and communications group, since 2010.

With the support of his team, Michail has organized a series of award-winning shows and festivals such as Abu Dhabi Moments, Abu Dhabi Science Festival, Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival and many others, and has also successfully organized many major corporate and public events, from gala dinners for 5,000 attendees and customized show performances to launches, fashion shows, roadshows and conferences.

He was also actively involved in the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece, where he supervised 5 Olympic facilities during the Olympics and Paralympic Games over 3 years.

Michail strongly believes that for an event to stand out, it needs to deliver genuine value to attendees through their experiential journey. All elements must be technologically up-to-date, smartly integrated and fit perfectly with the clients’ objectives, while being crafted with both passion and creativity.
