Corporate Meetings Executive|Valencia Convention Bureau

Désirée has lived in Luxembourg, Denmark, South America, Germany and Spain. She studied Marketing and Public Relations at the University Cardenal Herrera CEU in Valencia Spain, but she discovered the Tourism industry in Summer 2005.

Due to her studies and background she was working at the advertising and marketing industry until she found herself in touch with the MICE industry. “I was on a sabbatical year living in Copenhagen and I found myself studying a Tourism and Hospitality degree at the Copenhagen Business School during the summer”.

Since then, she has been working in the Valencia Convention Bureau for 13-years, focus in the International Corporate Meetings. Managing international candidatures such as the MTV Winter Festival, Dreamhack or helping international brands and agencies hosting their events in Valencia.

Recent member of MPI for the last three years, her new goal is to bring Green Meetings to life in Valencia, developing and working with the different agencies sustainable events in the city.

Désirée has as well other interests as she is blogger of a gastronomy blog and recent ceramic student.
