Karen Nedbal has been the Executive Director for the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors – International since 2013. Prior to taking the helm at ACCED-I, she worked in Washington, DC for sixteen years and worked for non-profit organizations including the Solar Energy Industries Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Educational Research Association leading both marketing and membership departments.
Before she joined the non-profit world, Karen lived and worked in both Asia and Europe where she held multiple positions focused on event planning, marketing, and sales.
She now lives in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado, with her amazing husband Bob and their two rescue cats.
