Andrea Santos

Andrea has worked in events and the meetings industry ever since she can remember. She started her career at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa, and then carried on to the Porto Convention Bureau, as a meetings industry product manager, where she had the chance to meet event professionals from all over the world. Andrea then made her way to the Alfândega Porto Congress Centre, as an international event manager, hosting everything from trade fairs to fashion shows. She is now the event´s officer at the International Water Resources Association, organizing large congresses all around the world. Andrea has a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in Business Management. She believes that continuous education is necessary in every area, especially in the events sector, where things change every day, therefore, Andrea also dedicates her time to the coordination of a post-graduate course in Events Management.
