Kenes Group is an Eventex Awards regular and one of the companies with the most accolades in the last few years. They are also currently 4th on the Eventex Index of the 50 Top Event Organizers & Agencies across the world.
You are one of the Eventex Awards 2020 winners. What does this recognition mean to you?
It means a lot! It is a celebration in its own right to see the happy faces of our clients and delegates onsite (when this was possible), but another when our hard work is recognised by industry peers. The feeling is truly amazing and it gives us another opportunity to celebrate as a team, and together with our clients.
What is your “recipe” for an award-winning event?
There is no recipe, really. We are a team and we work together to achieve our client’s vision, empower education and knowledge exchange. We adhere to our core values for every project and every event and the results come naturally.
How did the current crisis affect you? How did you adapt to the situation and what are your plans in the near future?
It affected us as any other event management company – we needed to adapt fast to the current situation. And this is what we did. We are pivoting many events to virtual and we are preparing for a future of more hybrid and virtual experiences.
What do you think is the future of virtual and hybrid events? Do you plan to organize such events even after the crisis is over?
Yes, we do believe they are here to stay. However, we do expect a strong return of face-to-face meetings, as soon as restrictions are lifted and environments are made safe for that.
What do you think will be the trends in the events industry in 2021?
Certainly hybrid and virtual events, we expect to see more creative tech solutions to come to the market too. And one much more united industry as a result of this crisis.
