zuzana-adamson

Zuzana Adamson is the owner and publisher of the international magazine and media group MICE CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE – the only B2B magazine focused on promoting the CEE countries to the MICE travel industry worldwide, and promoting the World to the buyers from the CEE region. Together with its website, www.mice-cee.com, the magazine/media group serves as a broad platform for information and exchange between various players from the meetings industry.

Prior to starting her business in 2007, and after seeing a real gap and need to increase communication between players in the growing MICE industry in the CEE and the world, Adamson worked in both the university and academic world as well as a professional journalist contributing travel articles and culture features to intellectual reviews as well as to such consumer magazines as Cosmopolitan.

Simultaneously, she received her PhD degree in Comparative Literature at the Sorbonne University in Paris, where her thesis focused on structuralism and the novels of the celebrated writer Milan Kundera. Her Czech translation of the poetry of A. de Lamartine (Les Meditations Poetiques) was highly regarded and published as part of an esteemed collection of internationally renowned poets (“Flowers of the Poetry”), writers and thinkers made available in Czech for the first time.

Her passion for travel and travel writing continued unabated throughout her studies in Paris, where she lived for over 10 years, and continued contributing to various international publications. Adamson (born Krupickova) published series of travelogues and articles for such magazines as Travel Focus, and Food Service Magazine as well as various newspapers and magazines on literature and culture.

Not one to rest on her laurels, she created a publishing company for both hardcover and digital e-books, 48. Gam.
One of the books from her publishing company became a Czech bestseller.

She is also author of the travel book entitled One Blonde Wa(o)ndering in India, published in English and listed in the British Encyclopedia of Inspirational Czech people.
