I’ve worked in the conference and meetings industry for over 15 years. In that time I’ve been immersed in every aspect of meeting planning, from design to project management and financial stewardship through to marketing and sponsorship strategy.For the last 10 years I’ve taken a leadership and mentoring role at The Conference Company and now sees me based in Sydney, having opened our first office in Australia in 2017. I’ve been privileged to guide an outstanding team of conference staff delivering superb meetings of up to 2500-plus delegates and exhibitors. Today the core of my role is building positive and enduring partnerships with our clients, many of whom we work with on a long-term basis.I still love to get hands-on with meeting design, planning and organisation. That’s where I get to share my enthusiasm for embracing trends and research outcomes through technology and other innovations , which are making today’s conferences more engaging, enriching and accessible than ever.I also enjoy my speaker engagements throughout Asia-Pacific and the consultancy work within the Australian and New Zealand meetings industry. It’s an honour to be and IAPCO Ambassador as well contribute deep knowledge of the Asia and Australasian market, and help consolidate the region's reputation of offering world-class conference destinations.LinkedIn
