Highly experienced in complex logistics, Sophie has been working at Worldspan for over 25 years. As MD, her role encompasses overseeing all the company’s event management, production and creative operations. She has personally delivered some of the company’s most complex and demanding events and has a commitment to exceptional service delivery. She is passionate about her team and their growth and development, as well as that of the company and one of her founding beliefs is that the team can only provide the highest standard of customer care with an exceptional, engaging and caring work environment. Worldspan has recently won C&IT Top 20 places to work and Rising Star award, as well winning Business of the Year locally. Worldspan was awarded Silver for "Best association event managed by an agency" at the European Association Awards in Brussels and have recently been shortlisted as Business of the Year and two event categories at the EVCOM Awards. These awards and recognition within the industry, plus the fact the Worldspan has average client retention of 15 years and staff retention which averages 10 years, is a testament to Sophie’s beliefs and passion in her team and the company. Sophie is passionate about the environment and CSR, and recognises that Worldspan has a commitment to the wider communities, and CSR forms an integral and formal part of Worldspan’s culture. She personally raised £1,232.00 for Meeting Needs in 2018 and is 'cleaning-up' Snowdon in 2019.
