I was born in Porto, Portugal, in 1969. With a Major in Social Communication from the Oporto Higher College of Journalism, I have worked with several national newspapers and magazines.Cláudia Sousa (our editor-in-chief) and myself are in charge since the beginning, in 2011, of Event Point, the leading publication for the meetings industry in Portugal, with websites and magazines, both in Portuguese and English. We are media partners of APECATE (the Portuguese Association of Event Agencies), Bea World, Event Tech Live, Eventex, Heavent Meetings, IBTM World, IMEX, IMEX America and IT&CM Asia.Every year we co-organize Meet@AlticeArena, a key moment of learning and networking for our sector, with Portuguese and International speakers, in the midle of an amazing arena, Altice Arena, in the heart of Lisboa.I represent Event Point as a press jury at BEA World and I am a member of their Advisory Board.To me, as a human being, travel is quintessential, food an inspiration and photography a passion.
