Global Head of Events at Danske Bank WM

Nanna Dalsgaard has been working with events as long as she can remember. In school it was party planning and international trips, later it was as an add on to her regular job as Channel Account Manager before she surrendered to her call and decided to start her own agency, which still exists today. Wanting to work more with events from a strategic point she decided to leave the agency world and go corporate about 10 years ago. Now she is Global Head of Events at Danske Bank WM,  a Nordic bank with 21.500 employees, strong local roots and close connections to the rest of the world . Nanna is responsible for 5 Business Units in 5 countries facilitating more than 700+ events per year and she leads an international team of 12 people. She holds more than 20 years of international experience within Event Management and Marketing. She previously ran her own event agencies in Denmark and Dubai before going corporate now focusing on strategy, processes, ROI and event management from a global perspective. She has experiences from different industries such as communication, finance and publishing. Nanna has always been a firm believer in the strength of events and sees events as the most important sales and marketing tool for companies. “Event is the counterpart to a world that becomes more and more digital, and I truly believe that guests, partners, clients, employees etc. will look more and more for inspiring and relevant events. Now it is our job to embrace that development” she says.
