Martijn’s career started at Disney, Marriott and Singapore Airlines.

As an event advisor, producer and designer he worked for clients such as Amsterdam RAI, ASN Bank, Amsterdam City, Booking, Bridgelux Intel, Kenwood X (Acq George P. Johnson) MCI, Rijkswaterstaat, TEDxBinnenhof, Seasun Games, Wind River, and ZAAM

To bridge the gap between strategy and execution of experiences with impact, he developed a number of successful concepts and tools, such as The Red Line Project and Event StoryBoard Canvas. In 2019 he created the Storyboarding Toolkit, a DIY way into the world of storyboarding to empower (event) innovators save time, money and improve results.

In 2018 he surprised the Dutch Event Industry by winning the award for best conference with “ ZAAM The BattleZ”, leaving Coca-Cola, Ocean Clean-up, RAI Amsterdam & Erasmus University empty-handed. In 2014 he won the Best Session Award at Fresh Conference.

Martijn is a member of the Meeting Design Institute, Sustainable Development agency Meet4Impact.Global and partner at Token.Agency, a boutique Blockchain consultancy firm.

He is a lecturer and speaker on creativity, trends, storytelling and experience design thinking at applied universities and international industry platforms: BEA World Festival, Eventex, IBTM World, Mice Arabia, Conventa Crossover, ICCA World Congress, The Meetings Show, FRESH Conference, inVOYAGE, Eventing The Future, Inholland University of Applied Science and The New School.
