Keneisha Williams

Founder, Black in Events Network

Keneisha Williams was born and raised in the city of Toronto. She is an accomplished international Event professional with over 13 years of experience. Helping private and public organizations execute small to large-scale events within the social, not-for-profit, and corporate spaces.  

In 2020 she founded The Black in Events Network – a globally inclusive community to amplify and create opportunities for Black professionals working in the events industry. Keneisha is no stranger to building empowering communities. She founded and managed SHESOFAB between 2010-2015 - a lifestyle company dedicated to empowering women through online content, campaigns, and social events.

Throughout high school, during her undergrad at Ryerson University, and her career,  Keneisha has been passionate about creating spaces that embrace and positively impact others.  She has volunteered for a number of places including the Canadian Cancer Society, Big Brother, and Big Sisters, Ryerson Tri-Mentoring to name a few. She gives back her time as a  mentor at both the Scarborough Women's Center and the Content Marketing Institute (CMI).  

She was named top 100 most influential people in the events industry, top 10 most influential women in the events industry. Most recently she has been recognized by Meetings Net magazine as a 2022 change maker, and Canada's top 100 Black Women to Watch.
