After a few years working abroad, Jose (Pepe) co-started eventoplus.com in 2000, an online start-up focused in helping the event industry for the first time in Spain (and in Europe).Since then, new solutions and resources have been added to the original online portal: print magazines both in Spanish and English, evento Days -the event tradeshow-, events like the Meeting & Incentive Summit or the Barcelona Event Day and the prestigious Premios eventoplus awards, giving way to Grupo Eventoplus, the largest meeting industry resource group in Spain and in Spanish language.Jose is a member of the jury in the most prestigious awards in the industry, takes part in many tradeshows, speaks, conducts and learns attending many industry forums and conferences internationally.His goal is to contribute to the development and professionalism of the event industry both in Spain and internationally.He is in charge of the International development of Grupo eventoplus and is trying to develop and help reach the UN Sustainability goals in the Spanish event industry.Eventoplus also manages the IBTM World Show Daily, the official publication of the show.
