Originally born in N Ireland, grew up in Swaziland and educated in South Africa. Iain spent 10 years in Johannesburg before moving to London in February 2001. He is as well a massive rugby fan supporting the mighty Springboks. Married a fellow South African in 2006 and they moved to N Ireland in 2012 where they still reside with 2 amazing boys making up their family.He has been a part of the events industry since 2002. Started working for a conference organiser specialising in the technology sector before joining Mash Media in 2003. Helped launch Conference News magazine in April 2003 which has become the leading magazine for the UK meetings market. Since 2013, has changed roles within the company and now head up the international division looking after key accounts for Conference & Meetings World magazine and Exhibition World magazine, our key partnerships with associations and MICE exhibitions and promoting the Mash Media brand.
