Early Registration For Eventex Awards Now Open

Put on your winning faces because early registration for Eventex Awards is now open. The 8th edition of the prestigious competition for event professionals, meeting planners, promoters, and live communication professionals promises to be the best one yet! Here’s why you don’t want to miss it.

Larger worldwide audience

For this edition of the awards competition, we are aiming to reach an unprecedented amount of people by going 100% online. This includes the ceremony where the winners are traditionally announced - this time it will be streamed to a massive audience via Facebook Live and YouTube.

Improved judging phase structure

In order to give each entry the most fair and balanced score, we made changes to the way judging is done. This is now done in 2 stages with the Delphi method applied. After an initial scoring phase, the judges take part in online sessions hosted by a facilitator, where they get to discuss the entries in their respective categories and the reasoning behind their scores. Eventually, they can revise their initial scores, if they wish to do so.

Complete transparency

We’re extremely proud that Eventex Awards is the most transparent competition in the industry. We did, however, make a nice improvement in this area as well - judges are now required to provide written commentary with regards to the score they have given for each entry. This will allow everyone to see the reasoning behind each score when all the entries, votes and comments are made public in the end of the competition.
